Privacy

When you send an enquiry we collect the name, email address, optional phone number and message you provide, the enquiry pathway you used (property, selling or renting, finance, or general), and the listing your enquiry relates to where applicable.

When a professional registers an account we collect an email address, a name, an optional agency or firm name, and the professional category selected at registration. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are not visible to AEGORA.

We do not ask for government identifiers, financial account details, health information or other sensitive information through our enquiry forms. Please do not submit sensitive information through a general enquiry form where it is not necessary.

We use the information you submit to respond to your enquiry, to pass it to the appropriate recipient described below, and to operate and improve the marketplace. We do not sell your information.

Enquiry information may be provided to the relevant participating professional, or to an authorised AEGORA administrator, depending on the enquiry pathway you used.

• Property enquiries may be provided to the listing owner or the professional responsible for that listing, in accordance with the platform's access rules, and to authorised AEGORA administrators.
• Selling, renting, finance and general enquiries are provided to authorised AEGORA administrators, who may refer them to an appropriately authorised professional where that is what you have asked for.

Access is enforced by the platform: a participating professional can see enquiries relating to their own listings, and cannot see another professional's enquiries. Broader access to enquiries is an internal privilege granted only to specific accounts by an AEGORA administrator.

We use third-party hosting, database and authentication providers to run the platform, and your information is stored using those services. We share information with them only so that they can provide those services to us.

We keep enquiry and account information for as long as we need it to respond to you and to operate the marketplace. You can ask us to give you access to the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it.
