Residency & Golden Visa

Residency pathways connected to property, and why they must never be assumed from a listing.

Framework — requires verificationGeneral information for orientation only, not advice.

01

Property and residency are separate questions

Some countries have offered residency pathways linked to investment or passive income, and several have narrowed, restructured or closed those pathways in recent years. A property purchase should stand on its own merits.

02

Categories that commonly exist

Framework only — availability, thresholds and conditions differ by country and change frequently.

  • Investment-linked residency programmes
  • Passive-income or retiree visas
  • Digital-nomad and remote-work permits
  • Ancestry or citizenship-by-descent routes, which many Australians qualify for

Verification required

AEGORA does not provide immigration advice and does not offer residency outcomes. Any residency pathway must be confirmed with a registered migration agent or the relevant national authority.
